The Smallest Package(s)…
The most beautiful lessons sometimes come in the smallest packages.
For example the concept that anything is possible.
That imaginations can become a reality.
That learning something new is normal.
That creativity can solve problems in out-of-the-box ways.
That the future is bright.
That a small act of kindness can change someone’s life.
That the little genuine, authentic conversations are the best.
That thinking the best of others and good intentions matter.
That taking time to play, dream, smell the flowers, smile, belly laugh, read a book, draw, paint and love are all still important.
That forgiveness is possible.
That everday is an opportunity to be enthusiastic.
That making a difference and making the world a better place is real.
That we all fall sometimes but can get back up.
That it’s okay not to be perfect or do everything perfectly.
That tears are a part of life.
And that happiness can be experienced in the simple things.
Sometimes we just have to be open to hope again, to get over things quickly and listen to the bearers of those messages. The messages might have been inside our hearts at one time. Inside the hearts of us as a child, and reflected inside the hearts of children everyday. We have to try to make sure to listen to the messages, even if they are unspoken through actions (such as my niece pictured above who has a big imagination and loves to dress up or the boy pictured below who, although young, is already living out his work dream by hammering a nail – and he is pretty good at it). I listen because beautiful lessons sometimes come in the smallest packages – in the form of a child.
Yes. Father is showing me how to love and how love can change the world. And many in little packages. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐼
I love the photos and yes good things come in small packages. Many times we think we have to move a mountain in order to make a difference in someone’s life, but most often it’s the little things that make a difference. Each one of us can do something each day to bring a smile to another’s life.
Thank you all for the comments! I agree it’s the little things that make a difference.
