Thanks Moms!
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone, especially to my Mother.
Today I wanted to cover an ancient mother named Deborah. A book written about her mentions how the country she lived in was deserted, towns were torn down, an enemy group infiltrated the land and no one was walking on the right path until she “arose a mother” in her nation.
Under A Tree
She counseled people under a tree, she encouraged a man to lead an army and gave him the courage to fight. She wrote songs and spoke encouragement to people. She was a judge and wife. A true inspiration and so much more.
Child(ren)?
Sometimes people in a country need a Dad, other times a country or individual needs a mom to stand up. The most interesting thing about Deborah is although she was a mother to a nation, it never mentions her children if she had any…
Whether Or Not…
Today if you have children like my Mother (who fed, clothed and provided shelter for us growing up and so much more). Or whether you are unable to have children or are still clinging to hope for a child someday. Whether you are someone who has been a mother to others like Deborah or whether your child is not on earth. Or whether Mother’s Day is painful because of the absence of a child, Mother or loss. Or whether you have filled the shoes to raise child(ren) that have no parents present. Whatever your day looked like yesterday just know that we need you, Moms.
Thank You!
Thank you, like Deborah, for rising up as Moms in nations. Thank you for equipping others with counsel and encouraging those who need wisdom. Thank you for teaching, training, feeding, clothing and providing shelter to children. Thank you for encouraging those who are standing for right. Thank you for writing, singing and judging situations rightly. Thank you for pointing people to a straight path to walk in. Thank you for everything you are as mothers and for standing in as mothers.
Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms but especially to my Mom. I am so grateful for the example she is of a godly woman and everything she did and taught me growing up! Thankful for the path she cut to get her children where we are today. <3
