One Way To Overcome Fear -After Another…

“Let your dreams be bigger than your fears…” -Unknown

This summer I faced my second wreck of two years. It took about a week to process. This wasn’t anywhere near the wreck I was in last year, where the first responders on the scene said, “We don’t come to scenes like this and anyone makes it out alive.” It was a lot to take in as I looked at my totaled car, a telephone pole down with live wires, a fire and blood coming from my arm. Last year’s wreck made it the 5th time I have arguably faced death (in different ways). Truthfully, I no longer fear it.

Take Away

The biggest lesson I have learned is tomorrow comes guaranteeless so do good and accomplish dreams today… Honestly, I have put off a dream. Especially with the excuse of once everything lines up, I’ll do it. With this wreck I realized, I will no longer put things off!

Can you relate? If so, what dreams have you put on a backburner?

Action From The Lesson

I want to live life to the fullest… To that end, I have decided to start this blog and track my progress through writing.  As I’m finishing several months of rehab, so I can get cleared to ride a horse again, I look forward to learning this new outlet. I also look forward to hearing your feedback in the comments!

Journey & Reason For Blogging

I love writing. I do it most days in my diary. Through social media posts many have mentioned how much it inspires you. In fact, I got a touching email last week about the impact of something I said to someone. Here is part of what was shared,

“That very day you shared that with me, I wrote it on my white board and left it there for weeks and weeks until I transferred it over to a sticky note at eye level right between my two computer screens. I have chewed on this over and over and it is perhaps the best single quote and idea that represents well over a decade of struggle and victory of my life and especially the last 3+ years.”

Maybe I can share that quote/idea one of these days…

Thank You & My Hope For You…

Thank you readers (including the one above), supporters and those helping me build this dream! You are my courage to start this blog!

Life is short. My hope is that “your dream” and the action to go after it is always “bigger than your fear!”
