Happy Mother’s Day!

Grateful for my Mother…
She has many amazing characteristics, but today I thought I would focus on five:
- She is an amazing, teacher. She knows how to organize information in a fun and educational way to help others grow and learn.
- She is a healthy cook and always taught those around a ton about food/herbs and eating for nutrition/fuel. Even today she still studies best practices to stay strong and healthy.
- She is a hard worker (gardening, cleaning) who passes on those skills to others along with being active.
- She is a researcher who will keep going until she finds answers to things especially in the areas of teaching, writing and health.
- She is a classical singer and artist. I remember waking up when I was a kid and listening to her go through warmups out in the old barn at the house we lived at during that time. I also remember her doing chalk art animal pictures to stand behind when I was a kids to sing “Friendly Beast” and doing costumes/creative props to act out stories.
Although there are so many more memories I could include about my Mother today and her skills, I hope you take time to think about your Mother or a Mother figure (Grandmother etc.) if you had one. Whether they are with you today or whether today is tough (miscarriage etc., loss of Mother/Mother figure, or lack of a Mother in your life), I hope you take a moment to be grateful for what you do have today? What lessons have you learned from your Mother (or someone special in your life)? In what way have they helped mold who you are today? How can you honor them today?
Happy Mother’s Day To all the Mothers out there especially, to My Mother!

A word of wisdom from my mom was “never loan more than you can afford to give away”
Nancy, thank you for sharing! This saying from your Mom is wise!
Grace you definitely represent your Mother well. You are so in depth of everything you do and that’s what I love about you. God bless you continously
Beth, thank you for sharing your feedback. I appreciate it!
