Dreams Come True

I had a name on my dream list under the category of people to go see speak live!

Looking back, this person has always been super inspirational to me and encouraged me to overcome. Meeting him a few weeks ago (at Life Surge) was humbling and more than a dream come true.

As I thanked him for sharing his story (and how impactful it has been for me especially in the last few years in recovering from two wrecks and working through getting mobility back in my shoulder), he responded in a thick Australian accent, “that’s awesome, come on.”

His name, Nick Vujicic. He was born without arms or legs. Now happily married, he has kids, a successful company, is an author, entrepreneur and speaks around the country. He was so full of acceptance.

Besides meeting Nick, I was also humbled to meet Willie Robertson, Sarah Jakes Roberts and John Maxwell alongside others.

While they spoke, I also practically had a front row seat which was another unexpected surprise. I am grateful for the connection that helped me get into the room with these amazing people. Their talks along with others (not pictured), were powerful/insightful!

This month, I want to thank those who are continuing to view my blog, comment and share this information.

More than that I want to say how grateful I am to see you using this blog as encouragement to go after your own dreams and living out who you were uniquely designed to be… That is the heart behind this blog. That is also what means the most to me and always will.

I understand how dreaming and seeing a dream come true can literally save a life and add excitement back to the mundane. I also realize how much courage it takes to live authentically to who you are and your unique dreams.

Although it has been humbling to already surpass the number of visitors this month (in comparison to the last 4 months), even more touching are the notes from those of you readers, who write even privately about how much the messages are helping you in life.

Special thanks to Rosetta Hoppman for being a guest this month on a very sensitive topic. If you have not had a chance to read her incredible story here is the link: Rosetta’s Story Blog Post

Next month, I look forward to covering someone who is known around the United States and even flown further around the world. Known by leaders, Presidents and lay people alike, I am super honored this individual intrusted me to share their story. It has been challenging to keep this a secret for months. I know the story will be so encouraging to you as well.

Maybe there is someone who you have looked up to – that meeting, thanking or listening to in person would be a dream come true. I hope today, regardless of what you are facing, that you will…

It’s free and in low times it’s the one thing that can start building hope. In the end, dreams can come true.

Meeting Nick for me was proof again.

What dreams can you write down today that you can take action toward so you can see them happen in the future?
