The visitor counts have grown beyond what I thought was possible in less than 4 months.
Circumstantially, this wasn’t the year to use my gifts or go after this dream, but I went (grateful for those who have helped along the way)…
The opportunities that have opened up have blown my mind…
Biggest Reward
Seeing each of you go after your dreams and goals, at times, means even more to me than the excitement/fulfillment of going after my own dreams (including starting this blog).
I stopped counting the number of people who sent messages (try to read once a week), pictures/links to businesses or dreams they were inspired to go after in spite of the odds.
One of these messages read:
“Keep up the blog posting… It’s really cool and neat you’re spreading your thoughts/viewpoints on things. I always admired how you went about things. Thought things through, so it’s cool you’re putting your thoughts out into the world.”
Another one read:
“You saved/changed my life, I want to thank you.”
These notes mean the WORLD to me!
I also know when I went through a lot of stuff years ago, I couldn’t write or laugh and my gift(s)/confidence felt so buried like it would never come back. I also didn’t even have one dream for the future or a desire to dream.
If you feel that way today, realize that everyone has or will have ups and downs in their life. However, you can still learn to dream again.
You are amazing and the world needs your gift(s). What you take for granted may be someone’s lifeline. In fact, the very things I went through gave me the desire and the content to create this blog. That could be true of you and your dream too!

Diary Contest Winner – Timothy Lowe! Congratulations!!!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannikah and an amazing holiday season and I hope in this coming year that you
“find your gifts“…
(whether you do it for your job, a hobby, to help someone else or to make yourself smile)
…and
“give it away (to your world).”
Had one of the worst Christmas today in my life. Felt worthless and unwanted but I know God has great things in store for me and reading your blog convinced me of that. Thanks for being there
I’m sorry you had a bad day, Beth! I have had plenty of those in my past and completely understand what it is like to feel worthless and unwanted. I want to let you know though that bad days, discouraging words, horrible experiences and even feelings of being unwanted don’t get to define you. You are more than today or anything that has happened. In fact, you can bring the opposite of anything that happened today in your life to the world around you. Bring acceptance to others. Bring kindness etc. You have gifts and talents to give to the world! You matter! You are welcome. Thanks for commenting!
Congratulations on pursuing your dream of writing a blog and on the progress you have made in this short amount of time. Thank you again for encouraging all of us to pursue our dreams and to share our gifts!
Thank you, Rita, appreciate your feedback and encouragement. You are welcome!
